The original oil painting was entitled "Florida Poinciana Tree" and was painted on stretched canvas in 2005 and was signed by the artist, R. Geddings.

The painting was an actual scene in West Palm Beach, Florida looking east over Lake Worth. The view features a stunning Royal Poinciana Tree, typical in south Florida.

As you can see, the artist has captured the vivid colors of red in great detail. The two species of palm trees added authenticity to the painting.
