This artist has painted a scene deep inside the Florida Everglades where the sawgrass plain meets the low, fresh-water ponds and lakes.

This painting depicts a typical view of the lighting of tropical twilights in this area. The Florida sky is covered with beautiful hues of yellows, oranges, and reds. There are never duplicate twilights, and the viewer can sense a feeling of serenity and quiet with only an occasional distant sound of the Florida wildlife !

The smaller island mounds in the foreground are typical of this areaof the Everglades. Note that both the wading Great White Heron and the gull overhead are both looking for a quick meal !
