THIS OIL PAINTING:
This one is another full moon over Florida's Everglades and as you can see, Riley has once again captured the magic of the midnight hour as the brilliance of the full moon floodlights this scene. The puffy clouds add a gentle serene feeling as one admires that quiet midnight sky.

Holding center stage is a Florida Barn Owl - swooping down on outstretched silent wings - talons extended in a typical attack mode as he anticipates capturing that unsuspecting creature of the night.

The backdrop for this moment in time is the silvery sheen of the full moon's reflections glistening across the waters of this area of The Glades. Completing this moonlit scene are typical Florida foliage on the left - and the Short-leaved Southern Pine Tree on the right. The subtle tones reflect moonlight shining on everything in this scene.

This original Florida art stretched canvas oil was painted in 2007, and was signed by the artist, R.Geddings. Quite a lot of knife work is included in this painting !
