The Painting:
This was an actual scene in the Florida Everglades very near the entrance
to the Ten Thousand Islands on Florida's Gulf coast.
The artist, R.Geddings, painted and signed this oil in 2007.
The artist has captured a typical Florida day which is ending fast ! He has painted
the lovely and authenic Everglades foliage, birds in flight, and an Egret looking for
a late meal in the shallows.
As you can see, the artist has also captured the beautiful colors of the Florida sky
along with the reflections and shadows in the water.
Note the flock of birds overhead flying to find a roost for the night !
This scene certainly gives the viewer a feeling relaxing tranquility and now is a
valuable addition to the art-loving buyer's Florida-paintings collection !
