This oil painting is a view of the Florida Everglades in the "Sawgrass Plains" area.

The artist has captured the beautiful Florida sky on a cloudy but bright day. This scene, as in most of this artist's paintings, gives one a feeling of calm and relaxation !

The "islands" of tall palm trees and Southern Pines on the plains of sawgrass is very typical to this part of Florida.

Note the gull flying over the shallows in search of a quick meal !
